Exploring the Sunday Gospel

Exploring the Sunday Gospel (Cycle B) is a structured opportunity for small groups of Christians to break open the word of God and understand its rich depth. Father Joseph Sullivan's sharp appreciation for the struggles and concerns of today's conscientious Christian guides groups to discern what the word means and how it can be manifested in the word through reflection and prayer.

The simple lesson format in this guide is designed to maximize individual participation in Scripture study while fostering a sense of Christian community. Each week's lesson opens with a prayer that reflects the theme of that week's gospel, but each prayer is incomplete - encouraging the group to expand the prayer according to their needs.
