About the Author:

Born of Irish/Scottish descent in Wellington, NZ. At age 17 Fr John entered the society of Mary, an international religious congregation and was ordained a priest in 1955. After some initial hesitancy about healing and Catholic Charismatic renewel, he discovered the power of prayer with faith and gradually grew in the use of the gifts of the holy spirit, and in the healing ministry. His ministry is widely accepted, not only in Catholic but also in ecumenical settings.
