The Cross: Our Only Hope

Members of the Congregation of Holy Cross - including pastors, teachers, and the current and past presidents of the University of Notre Dame (and other Holy Cross institutions) - offer an introduction to the rich, vibrant spirituality of the Congregation in this daily meditation book. Each day begins with a brief excerpt from the Holy Cross spiritual tradition - including the writings of Basil Moreau, Edward Sorin, and Jacques DuJarie - followed by a brief personal meditation (by a member of Holy Cross). Themes such as trust in God, compassion, hope in the cross, discipleship, and the promotion of justice speak to members of Holy Cross, all who have been touched by their ministry, and any Catholic interested in learning more about the Congregation's spirituality.
