Faith and the Hungry Grass: Mayo Book Theology

All fifteen contributors were born and educated in County Mayo, and many of them still live there. All of them were engaged, at some level, in the theological enterprise before they were asked to reflect, precisely as Mayo people, on their own faith for this unique book. Their specialist areas range from pastoral ministry t scripture to liturgy, from poetry to feminism to Celtic spirituality, and from liberation theology to mariology to moral theology. Taken together, their contributions give a dynamic picture of a lively, creative and thinking local church in their home county.
